Mario Costabile

The Executive Director of Array of Hope

Mario Costabile is an Emmy-nominated film producer, accomplished music producer, and dynamic Catholic evangelist whose work spans the worlds of entertainment, media, and faith. With a career producing content for film, television, and the music industry, Mario has collaborated with major platforms including MTV, VH1, Fuse, Discovery Channel, the SYFY Channel, Off-Broadway productions, Yamaha Music, Sony Music, Atlantic Records, and Universal Music.

In 2010, Mario co-founded Array of Hope, where he now serves as Executive Director. Under his leadership, the organization has become a nationally recognized leader in Catholic evangelization, producing powerful original music, films, and live events that reveal the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith. Through its innovative media and family-centered mission, Array of Hope continues to inspire audiences across the country.

Mario has also created and produced numerous programs that regularly air on major Catholic media networks including EWTN, CatholicTV, Catholic Faith Network, Salt + Light Media, Shalom World TV, Formed, Canela Media, and NET TV, reaching audiences around the world.

In 2020, Array of Hope launched the podcast “A Reason For Hope,” which Mario co-hosts. The show quickly gained national traction and now ranks in the top 15% of all downloaded podcasts in the United States, engaging listeners with conversations that explore faith, culture, and the search for meaning.

A sought-after speaker and storyteller, Mario has addressed conferences, retreats, and leadership gatherings across the country, including events hosted by Legatus and the Napa Institute. He frequently appears on national Catholic media outlets such as EWTN, CatholicTV, Catholic Faith Network, and Relevant Radio, sharing insights on faith, culture, and evangelization.

In recognition of his impact, Tom Monaghan awarded Mario the prestigious Legatus “Bowie Kuhn Special Award” for Evangelization in 2021, honoring individuals who demonstrate extraordinary efforts in spreading the Gospel among their peers. Mario also serves as the Legatus Chapter President in Newark, New Jersey.

Mario and his wife Susan have been married since 1984 and are the proud parents of five children and six grandchildren. Driven by faith and a passion for using media to inspire others, Mario remains committed to fulfilling God’s call through the mission of Array of Hope uniting families and helping them grow closer to Christ.
